Can I use JBOD on a drive loaded with Windows ???

I now have a 120GB SSD running windows 10 and it's running out of space. My friend just got me another 420GB SSD. Can I JBOD ?

There is absolutely zero need for any JBOD.
Just add this new 480GB as a second drive with its own drive letter. Much easier and safer.
