Can i use my Billion BiPAC 7300 RA modem router for the NBN?

I have tried researching online to answer my own question but i keep getting confused so now i need to ask you guys to get a straight yes or no answer,
Will my old Billion BiPAC 7300 RA modem router connect me to the NBN?

The NBN is just for my 1 pc at home.

Unfortunately, no.

The NBN requires you to connect using an Ethernet cable to the ONT, which will be installed and converts the fibre signals to ethernet.

You might be able to connect your PC directly to the ONT, but I doubt it. Ask your ISP.

Your ISP will probably give you a free router when you sign a new contract, anyway.
