The non F version usually costs about $15 more.
It is cheap insurance if you should ever have a graphics card issue.
It also lets you test the new build without having to gimp your old by removing the graphics card.

The K suffix processors allow overclocking with a Z chipset.
But, for gaming, overclocking is not the way to go.
It turns out better to let the default turbo mechanism boost a couple of cores past what an all core oc can do.
If budget is an issue, look at smaller MATX motherboards with a B660 or B760 chipset. They are usually cheaper.
What are you planning for a cooler?
LGA1700 requires a different cooler or at least an adapter.
You might list the make/model of all of your current parts as well as what new ones you have purchased.
