First off, I apologize because I know I am an idiot & this an idiotic question but I could not find an answer that would help me via google.
I want to purchase an external Usb 3.0 4 tb hard drive and put all of my music on the drive. We have a very large collection because we own hundreds of audio books in addition to music, movies, tv shows, and podcasts. 99% of it is in Itunes but I also have several items via Amazon music.
I am running Windows 10.
Can I put all of the music(movies etc) on the external hard drive and have my PC play it easily? My plan is to delete all of the stuff from my C drive and only have it on the external drive IF Windows can run Itunes and my music will work "normally" like it does now via my C drive.
Again, sorry for such a stupid question. Lol. It is embarrassing having to ask this but I have no idea if you can use an external hard drive partially like your main drive. Thanks for any help and/or info you might provide me.
