Can I use my GTX 1060 for Ethereum Mining?

I am looking to make some extra cash in ethereum mining. However, I am not sure how well my GTX 1060 will do with this(paired with a 7700k). Is it worth the stress on my machine and power consumption? It could be running around 18 hours a day. Another alternative I could do is buy a 480 or dual 460's and put them in a different machine with an old 2500 and all I would need to purchase is a PSU and GPU. I am not wanting to spend the money to build a new dedicated machine to this, as I know there is a very high supply right now. Thanks,

Nick

You'd maybe make a couple dollars a day with your 1060, assuming your electricity is relatively cheap.

I would not invest in a dedicated mining rig, even just GPUs and PSU. Too late in the game for that, you'd be lucky to even recoup your investment.
Mining with only one gtx 1060 will not get you any profit or very little profit.
you can use multiple gtx 1060 for making good profit. if you are thinking to mine with one GTX 1060 only than i will suggest you to not go for it. just use it for gaming.
