Can I use my old hard drive alongside my current one even though it has Windows 7 on it?

I am currently running Windows 10 on my PC, and would like the added benefits of having an extra terabyte on my system. So I thought it would be smart to reuse my old hard drive from my previous PC, but it has Windows 7 installed on it. I was wondering if I would run into any problems hooking it up to my current setup. The hard drive is also not the same model but it contains the same amount of storage.

Connect it, and delete all existing partitions on it.
Use as desired.
