Can I use my old plug for my new desktop?

Hi,

I've had a Dell Inspiration desktop that is about 7 years old. I just bought a new desktop with a Evga Supernova 650 G2 but I misplaced the plug.

Can I use the old one from my dell or should I not take a chance and get another plug from the computer store?

If you mean the plug that goes from the outlet into the psu then yes. As long as it still works and it fits you should be good especially it the psu is made by the same company.

One PSU was a DELL current one is a top of the line G2.

Find the cord.

the power cords are all the same as far as power handling goes.i have see a few two prong ones tho and if thats what yours is you should find a three prong.
