My pc details
Intel core i-5 9400f
H-310 motherboard
16 GB ram ddr4 2400mhz
Gtx 1080
Monitor 1080p 60hz

I am not planning on upgrading for few years and wanted to know if it's enough to last 4-5 years?

Solution
I think it will be ok for 4 to 5 years. By the way, you haven't mentioned your storage. It could be 500gb to 1 or 2tb as per your requirement.

It will be good for another 2Yrs or at max 3Yrs without the requirement of lowering in-game settings. 4-5Yrs it will be fine but will have to lower your in-game settings.

Well, the way I see it, as long as you take good care of it, I don't see why not. I'm sure the games that will be coming out in those next years will be more resource demanding, but I'm sure you'd be able to play them.

If you are asking us based on hardware failure it will last you lot longer than 5yrs unless it gets damaged due to fluctuations or any other external cause.

Based on performance it will be good to play majority of games at max setting for next 2-3yrs after that you can still get decent gaming experience by dailing the settings down a notch.
