Hello! Sorry if this post isn't in the right thread.

I would like to know if it is practical to use a PS3 slim in my car, hooked up to my portable DVD player (yes, it has an input).

To solve any potential issues, I installed an SSD, I am using a 200W power inverter, the car will be nicely air conditioned, I have a good spot for the PS3 (For good airflow), and I will be running games off the HDD and not the DVD drive.

I just want to know if there will be any other issues, such as the car battery dying, that stuff.

Thanks in advance!

I remember the good old days, 11" tv strapped to the middle console, and a gamecube playing sonic adventure 2 battle on the way to santa cruz.
Then a 3 1/2 hour drive seemed like a lifetime, now its nothing for me, especially since im thinking of college there.

In short without getting distracted, as long as the alternator is charging the battery (driving) you should be fine.

I'm just a passenger that is going to ride in the car for 8 hours (while my dad drives)

Sorry about the confusion
