Just got my new monitor yay!! Thing is it is a 1440p and I would like to use my TV with it too. How do I do it? Everytime I do connect the TV it puts my monitor into 1080p. Hope there is a easy answer as 1440p looks beautiful.
Extend the desktop to your TV. That way you can set the resolution right for each screen. This way I'm running a 27" 1440p monitor and a 23.6" 1080p monitor next to it.

i'm on a laptop w/ 2 extra monitors right now and 1 of the monitors is at 75 HZ (the other 2 are at 60), and all the displays are at different resolutions. I have NVIDIA graphics. So you should be able in the NVIDIA control Panel.

That works, however my second screen it calls it, which is my monitor comes up with a tiny box of a wallpaper? So if you can fix that for me you get best answer
When i say box wallpaper, I mean it has a bezel all around it.
Get a wallpaper with the size of your monitor, set that as your wallpaper. Should be fixed. If you want to have different wallpapers on your screens, you can use Displayfusion.
Its most likely the scaling (or scanning, forgot what its called). In Catalyst look for an slide option that lets you set the monitors scaling which should make it take up the whole screen. I'm not in front of my pc so dont remember the exact tab its under in catalyst. I'm pretty sure its called "Overscan" or something simliar.

It is all working thanks, will give you best answer, if you game can you tell me how to move the game which is in fullscreen to another monitor?
Umm, I'm not sure how to do that. By default the game always picks the 1440p screen. You might be able to change some settings in the game or in the control panel of your graphics card.

Ok, thanks anyway, you have fixed it for me, I'll have to work out the other thing myself
To get the game to the other monitor you have to set that one as primary (DX accelerated games default to the primary monitor in most games). In Catalyst go to where you can see your desktop configs, right click the one you want it on and choose Set as primary.

Thanks, I'll leave it how it is at the minute, see how everything works, although I will keep this in mind
