Question Can I use Optane in my AMD 245 computer?

I have a 2009 HP CQ5720F AMD Athlon II X2 245 with 3GB. It worth putting Optane in it for better memory or should I just increase the RAM?

Welcome to Tom's!
I've never heard that Optane works on anything other than an Intel based platform. I don't think it works on any AMD platform.
