Question Can I use PCI 4.0 based SSD for Macbook Air 2017?

I have Macbook Air 2017 model. I want to upgrade its SSD upto 500 GB.

I have searched good SSD on amazon website and found "Crucial-Plus-500GB-PCIe-6600MB/s" SSD.

Macbook Air uses proprietary M.2 socket.
To use regular M.2 drive, you'll need a specific adapter, to use in Macbook Air.

1. Can I use "Crucial-Plus-500GB-PCIe-6600MB/s" on Macbook Air 2017?
2. Will it support to Macbook Air 2017?
3. If I use suggested adaptor, will it reduce read and write speed of "Crucial-Plus-500GB-PCIe-6600MB/s" SSD on Macbook Air 2017?
