Question Can i use ram of the exact same model with different speeds?

I have 8gb of DDR4, 2400mhz HyperX Fury ram, and I wanted to know if I could add another 8gb of the same model but with 2666mhz speed?

As rgd notes, the only way to be sure is to buy a kit that's tested together. Since you're wanting to upgrade from 16 GB, you ought to look for a 2x16 GB kit.

And while there's a good chance it will work (just not a guarantee), you'll end up having all three sticks running around 2400. If you run a mile while handcuffed to your friend who is a better runner, you both will go your speed, not his.
