Sure you can the cooler is also compatible with 1151.
http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/hyper-d92/

Intel® LGA 2011-3 / 2011 / 1366 / 1156 / 1155 / 1151 / 1150 / 775 socket

AMD® AM4 / AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2 / FM2+ / FM2 / FM1 socket

Make sure you still have the 1151 mounting hardware.

i was told its compatible but will the cpu-cooler die out cuz i had it on weak power supply with 860k..... considering ill be using with new i7 7700k............. ive gamed only a few hours cuz all my parts were obsolete and imcompatible.... my cpu on 860k kept overheating with stock cooler

to make things simple.....

this wont die out? even if its used for 5 months on 735w raidmax power supply

someone on here told me to buy the evga v3 650watt psu for the xfx 390 ..... and i bought the psu cuz it was on sale for presidents day .... he had said its 1 of the best...

and the tech support from xfx said i have to use no more then 650w psu
