Hi everyone!
I have ASUS P6X58D-E. and my current GPU is GTX 560 Ti.
I want to buy new graphic card and am going either SLI or CF it depends if I am going with Nvidia or AMD. The thing is that my slots are too close to each other and the cards today are very big and there are no room for both of them.

If you take a look at this picture http://i.imgur.com/BEr13mo.jpg?1
I currently have my Graphic card in the slot number one in the picture. Will the CF or SLI work if I have one of the graphics in slot number 1 and the other in slot number 3? I don't get why there are different colors.

Thanks for the help!

"The P6X58D-E motherboard provides you a host of new features and the latest technologies. It supports Core i7 (LGA1366) and delivers better overclocking capabilities with less power consumption. It features Triple channel DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1600/1333/1066 memory support and breaks the boundaries to bring you the multi-GPU choice of either SLI or CrossFireX."

You can do either - SLI or CF

Also, this board allows 3way SLI, and it would run 16/8/8, so in your case you can slots 1 and 3 and it'll work just fine for SLI.
