Can i use the cables from a modular power supply as extensions?

Hey guys question is the title, for a bit more detail i have some spare cables from a previous modular power supply i had i was wondering if they could be used as extensions to hook onto the end of the new power supplys cables mainly the 4 pin CPU connector because it isn't quite long enough to be routed under the mobo tray.

They would need to have opposing ends ( male/female ) to be used as extensions

Haha thank you i didint bother taking a close enough look at them to notice that are Male on both ends i assumed they where female to hook into the PS haha thanks 😀
