Question Can I use the Corsair ll120 as a solo fan with none of extra components?

Hey so this may be a stupid question

But I am in desperate need of a new fan and the Corsair ll120 is the only one near me which I can get. Am I able to buy this and use and install like any normal fan without the extra components or do I NEED the extra stuff?

I just want to buy the one fan and install it job done screw it into my cpu cooler plug it in using the 3pin and that's it

Is that possible ?

EDIT: I understand that without the extra stuff I won't get RGB but I am not too bothered about that

I believe I have the hydro h60

The fan has a 4 pin pwm.
