Can I use the input HDMI port for display on my Xbox One?

So my output HDMI port is complete broken, the little plate inside of it is off the port and I'm not confident i can repair it myself by soldering, So I'm wondering if theres anything i can buy like an adapter or something to get display on the input port.

Sorry, but that is not possible. You will need to get the HDMI port repaired or replace your console.

Just take it to a local shop and you can get it repaired cheap. Or else, if you have warranty, take it to microsoft service center. Dont do anything yourself, you can ruin it further.
