[SOLVED] Can I use the liquid cooling unit with my mother board and is the liquid unit rgb? Does my mobo support it?

I have an asus m5a97 le r2.0 and an AMD 8350. I also have a Corsair liquid cooling h100v2 the single radiator. It may be rgb? There is a usb that comes off the pet that connects to the cpu and it’s supposed to plug into the board. Can I use that? Or will it fry my board.

I used it with an older gigabyte board but it fried the board when I plugged that usb in.

the corsair coolers are designed to be easy to fit on any motherboard as to weather your unit has a problem well thats your decision

Okay but does the usb link cable that comes off that head unit have to be plugged into a certain spot on the motherboard?

well yes the corsair link cable is plugged into the h100 and the connector fits on the internal header
