Hi
Can I connect the [
M.2 NVMe SSD NGFF to PCI-E 3.0 X16 Adapter] with my Old [Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD4H] Motherboard?
I want to use the M.2 NVME SSD as a Storage and Not a Boot SSD
I Already use my Old SATA SSD [Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB] to Boot Windows10 Pro, so I don't want to boot from
NVMe SSD
Will Windows 10 Recognize the new NVMe SSD that I connect it to PCI Express Slot and Does it appear in [Disk Management]?

Don't expect magical speed from it, though.
What! 😳
I google it and I get this results for PCI-E speeds:

PCI Express Theoretical Max Bandwidth

PCI-e 1.0PCI-e 3.0
x1250MB/s985MB/s
x41000MB/s3940MB/s
x82000MB/s7880MB/s
x164000MB/s15760MB/s

Her is an image if my Motherboard PCI-E Slots... So I must connect the NVME SSD in PCIEX8 Slot?
Is this slot PCI-e 3.0 or PCI-e 1.0? The PCIEX16 is used by the Graphic Card.

What do you plan on using it for?
I use it to speed up Video Editing and adobe after effects and Steam and Gog Games and Cinema4D
