Hi Guys,

So I am kinda new to this so I am sorry if I am asking a noob question, so I noticed that my motherboard which is Prime-B350M-A has an RGB header but its for Wraith Spire, Can I use that header also for Wraith Prism?

Please see image below of the board. I highlighted the RGB header in yellow

Also it seems Wraith Prism also has a usb connector for controlling the RGB, do I need to install that too? or I can install that and ditch the RGB header. Thank you very much.

Solution
Yes no issues...It's a standard 4 Pin RGB header. But you should just be able to use just the USB 2 header for full control via the Cooler Master Wraith Max RBG Software.

Yep it can be confusing but in this case it is a little more complicated as there are 2 ways of controlling the RGB for the Wraith Prism. I know people have had issues controlling via the motherboard RGB header, especially trying to sinc both the ring RGB and the Fan RGB but through USB and the Cooler Master Software it seems to work fine.

Thanks alot both of you for the reply. I really appreciate it! And yes I was asking for the RGB control since I am scared of plugging in wrong cable it might toast something haha.

No problems at all....But if you are putting the RGB cable into the 4pin motherboard RGB port...make sure you get it in the right way or there could be some smoke!!!! the arrow on the RGB cable head shows where the 12v pin from the motherboard RGB header needs to align....Its all in the manual...
