Hi guys,
This is my part list

Motherboard - Asus tuf h370 pro gaming
Cpu - Intel i7 8700
Memory - Corsair (2x8) 16gb 2666mhz

Can i use the xmp settings in the bios to make the ram run at 2666mhz?

Thank you.

I believe that motherboard will read your memory default of 2666mhz when powered on. So you may not have to change anything. If it does not show your memory at 2666mhz at start up then yes xmp is the best way to start to change settings in memory speeds. Especially for a beginner. Just make sure you have installed the newest bios for your motherboard, and update the supporting files to newest sets from the ASUS web site.
