Can i use this CPU?

So, i have this CPU: http://products.amd.com/en-us/desktopcpudetail.aspx?id=398 it's old. but not terrible, it could run Battlefield 3 for reccomennded settings. I'm building a budget gaming PC for x'mas, but i'm afraid i will not save up enough for decent CPU in time.

1.Will this not bottleneck with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125476
2.Can you suggest a motherboard that fits this CPU and GPU? Preferably mATX.

It would. That is a generation 1 Phenom and they were horrid. I would update the BIOS and get an FX-6300, to eliminate a potential bottleneck. It just runs circles around the old Phenom 9650.

If you are to upgrade to a newer generation FX CPU, I recommend this one to your preference -
