I want to buy a cheap PC with Intel I5 9400/ Mainboard Lincs Intel H370. This PC has Intel® UHD Graphics 630
and i want to replace it with Geforce Gtx 1660 Ti. Will it work with the mainboard, or is there something else to keep in mind? (apart from better power adapter)

Thanks. Do you think its a good combination? It would cost about 700 € all together. I compared many prices and i think its a very good price for this performance.
I think i7 8700 fits more to gtx1080.

Yes its small.
HP Pavilion Desktops 590-p0 Series

But they are all like this. There are some with i7-9700F and gtx1080 and still same size. And yes for this configuration its too small. But for mine its ok i think. And i will buy a 400W power supply.
And it has only 180w power supply because there is no graphic card.
Only 400€ for PC. And 250 € for gtx1660 ti. +40€ for Power Supply and 30€ for extra 8 gb Ram because it has only 8 gb Ram. In total 720 €.

My concern is that this system does not take a standard power supply. Replacing it means purchasing a proprietary power supply that is compatible with this system and those are unlikely to have the required PCI-E power cable for the graphics card supplemental power requirement.

@ Wolfshadw
you are right. It requires a special sfx power supply. I will contact HP and ask which i can use.
Im suprised if they really use a very specialized power supply because all of their PCs have this mini form.

i found out the PC uses a 180 W SFF (Gold). Its on the hp website with product information.
And i was in the shop and the guy opened the pc...it looked like this:

Im not sure if it was exactly that one. I will go on monday again and look at it again.
Meanwhile i ask in the HP forum.
I could also just buy a full pc with gtx1060 and same cpu for 670 € but gtx1660 ti is much better right? And it sais the pc also uses 180W Power Supply. How can they sell a rig with i5 9600 and gtx1060 with a 180W Power supply? It shouldnt be enough i think.
