Can I use this graphics card on my motherboard?

Motherboard - MSI Z170A SLI PLUS
Graphics Card - Gigabyte Windforce 1060 6GB OC

I just read that the GTX 1060 3GB doesn't have SLI support. I have a 6GB one. Am I fine?

Yes you are fine, does not have sli support means that you cannot buy a second videocard. The motehrboard can take a 2 cards but if the cards are not compatible in sli it will work just as 1. On short with one card you are fine, if you want to add a second card buya gtx 1070 and then later add the second one.
