I am thinking to buy

People usually dont recommend mixmatching, but these two different RAMs have the same timing so I think they should be fine?..

Also, I've stumbled across on asymmetrical/symmetrical dual channel terms.. Anyone care to explain what these means and which is better?..

Would appreciate any help!

U should not buy those cards. There will work but you should also be ready to face a lot of errors, sometimes so much that you will end up buying another cards.

Us can put same cards in one channel ( controlled by a single memory controller) and the other set in the different channel, controlled by a different controller.

You can do this but is not recommended
