Question can i use this ram in latitude e6410

hi new here and ram has always confused me i have a latitude e6420 with 8gb of ram and a latitude e6410 with 4 gb of ram can i swap i stick of ram from e6420 and put it in 6410 i could never wrap my head around types of ram thanks in advance of if i am not giving enough info please say. thanks

Yes, you could interchange RAM on both, since they are very similar.
The E6420 comes with faster RAM, so it might run slower on the E6410.
You could provide a link of the RAM.

update! i put the ram from e6420 into the e6410 and the system would not booth bios sayed 8gb of ram but windows wouldint work until it was removed so guess you cant htanks for reply and help

in case it is of use to someone the e6410 only takes memory DDR3 1066 MHz the e6420 take different speed including 1066 but the ram i had is 1333 so darn!
