Can I use two different ram chips in one PC? (same type "ddr3"..)

Hello, I have a 4GB ram chip by corsair.. DDR3
I'm gonna buy a new GTX960 and I was wondering if I can use a Kingstone ram with it.. DDR3 .. Same things

Sometimes it can work OK as long as the timings and voltages are the same, but even then it's not a guarantee. If you try it, you should stress-test the kit using MemTest86+ for several hours to make sure you won't run in to issues.

It all depends on a number of things - DDR3 has gone through it's share of changes and not all DDR3 will work with all mobos - what mobo/CPU? Also mixing DRAM can be and often is problematic...might take a look at my FAQs and Fiction articles here:
