Can I use two ethernet ports on computer?

I have a motherboard with one ethernet port. So probably one network card.

I'm thinking of getting a USB to Ethernet Port so I can have two ethernet cables ports.

I have two modems (different ISPs) that I use. I use one for online gaming and the other for downloading and watching media, so I switch them when needed. I use one ethernet cable at a time, but it's troublesome to switch which cables are plugged in manually all the time.

So can I have two ports with two cables and switch which one I use on windows?

Yeah but it will be very troublesome. The internet will be constantly freezing and having issues because windows can't figure out which internet to use.

Hmm, so can't I block one connection when using the other?

Go with one internet connection only. The block will be to only plug one cable in at a time.

USB for anything IO related, like harddrives and network cards, is a horrible idea unless you absolutely need it. USB is fine for keyboards, mice, and printers, but keep it away from anything that needs reliable high bandwidth.

You can disable one and enable the other, just go into network settings then network adapters and enable/disable the ones you need.
