Can i use usb monitor as main/primary monitor?

I build my own mini itx pc recently, everything is set up but no monitor, i want everything to be portable so I chose usb monitor, but is that possible? Just plug it in and use it straight away for editing or gaming?

I think usb monitor will work but. In bios it will not work.
By the way you can use vga or dsub
