Can I use WD-40 Lubricant on a Dell keyboard?

It is crazy but I'm experiencing some hard press on this cheap keyboard. I wanna know if it can make typing/keypress smoother. Thanks!

Not recommended, WD40 could damage most parts on your PC. What you should use is lubricant spray on silicon base, but even those should be check before use.

here just buy a new one. The cheap dell keyboards when the start to go it just better to get a new one then try to fix them.

I agree with faalin. If it's just a bog-standard, inexpensive keyboard just buy a new one.

And contrary to what many people think, WD40 is not a lubricant in the true sense.
It's primarily a cleaning fluid/rust protector which evaporates.

True lubricants do not evaporate, if they did they would be unfit for purpose.
