Can i used sata 6Gb/s hard drive in Sata 6Gb/s Port

Hi folks! The question is: Can i use a sata 6Gb/s hard drive, specifically ( Velocity Raptor 500G 6Gb 10000 RPM 64MB Cache) in a Sata 6Gb/s Port on a P9X79 PRO MOBO without any problems?

Do you have the exact model number of the drive? I just want to check the specs to be able to tell you if there will be any benefit in doing that, or if a SATA2 connection will give you the same results.
