can i5 3450 3.1 ghz last 2 year more?

hello guys i have an i5 3450 3.1 ghz and i wanted to know if i should upgrade it or let 1-2 year pass? and can it make it to 2 more years? will it support nowadays poerfull cards like gtx 970?

It should do fine with todays games and would be a good match with the 970. It might start struggling a little with CPU demanding games in the next year or two. Its still a very good cpu
