Can Intel dh61ww support 12gb ram

Hey there actually i had 2× 4gb of ram but actually it wasn't enough now and i wanted to extend it so i thought of replacing one 4gb module with an 8gb one so can i do it..will my mobo support 12gb of ram? Bios has been fully updated

The board supports a max 16GB (2x8GB)

In theory, an 8GB module + a 4GB module "should" work, but mixing & matching RAM modules not sold together in a 'kit' can be a bit problematic in some instances...... a bit of a lottery.

So I just tried it and everything works perfectly well i.e. 8gb+4gb module. Just make sure to get your ram double sided and also on intel's site it is mention that the board supports upto 1333mhz of speed but mine is supporting 1600mhz too so Cheers...
