especially motherboard and CPU socket type

The Intel Pentium has many generations starting at Pentium (1)
then P2, P3, P4 (423, 478 pins, then LGA 775) P4D , Core, Core 2 or cut down version of I3/I5 using socket LGA 1156 or 1155
(and thats just desktop versions)

Memory
Video Card
