Can it work if i take 1 hard drive out of one pc and put a different hard drive

My new pc came with windows 8 and I dont care for it. So my ? Is can I put my old hd 2 tb w/ windows 7 on it in to new pc

I don't see why not. Are you are doing is hot-swapping in a new HDD. should work perfectly fine.

I've had it work successfully many more times than it not work properly. The main chore I encounter is finding which hardware is still logged as recognized on the new computer from the donor computer (yet it's obviously no longer there), and uninstall the drivers accordingly.
