Can large amounts fo EMI from a fan damage my computer?

I have a very large fan which I figured out was causing a huge amount of EMI due tot he fact that when I turned it off or on it caused my headphone audio to get very static but this has been going on awhile should I be concerned about component damage?

No, that is transient stuff. No permanent damage to components.

But do move the fan to a separate outlet and route the fans power cable away from the PC.
