Question Can lc pump be used for additional fans

Have hp obelisk and have noticed recently temps rising and some throttling. Came with 2 fans but when checking for fan headers can only see lc pump free. Can I connect a fan there?

Update your post to include full system specs and OS.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition.

I do not know if you can connect a fan there or not. Likely dependent on the motherboard.

Configuration and physical connections matter.

Check the motherboard's User Guide/Manual.

However, do not apply a fix/solution without knowing the problem.

What is the desktop doing when you see temperatures rise and throttling?

Any other symptoms, occasional error codes, pop-up windows etc.

What do you see happening via Task Manager and Resource Monitor?

Omen hp obelisk i5 9400f 2.9ghz 8gb memory 256 ssd 2tb hhd rtx2060 windows 10. 500w psu hp model appears to be in Chinese. 8 months old.

Generally seeing cpu at 100 load after 15 minutes of gaming(star wars fallen order) cpu temps around 85c. Fps drop even on medium 2k settings despite the fact when I first bought the pc was playing 2k games without issue.

Computers generally abit stuttery for some reason. Have scanned for malware and viruses to no avail. 60% memory utilisation while idle. Unsre if that's an issue
