The motherboard that is not plugged to anything. i saw that battery is usually 3 volts. can that battery cause short circuit when you hold or put it on sink?

Solution
Between the battery and CMOS, you could end up short-circuiting something, but there may also be capacitors that still have a little charge left that may also short-circuit if their contacts are touched to a conductive material. I would avoid setting a motherboard on anything conductive even when unplugged.

Oh. now i dont know if i lost 300$ or not! i think i have to test it (in future). im not technician but im not sure if 3 volt can really do anything. if it could then manufactures must have do something about it. i mean we are in 2016!
