My motherboard is Asus h170-Pro , LGA 1151

1-What is the latest CPU that i can run with it ?
2-Can it handle i7 8700 or i7 9700 ?
3- What is the best low price motherboard that can handle i7 9700 or i7 8700 ?

Thanks in advance

hey man,

the best chip for your pc is a i7 6700(k) or i7 7700(k) after a bios update..
there is barely any difference between the two, and nonetheless I would get the i7 6700.

so 2 ) no
3) why would you need that? sure its newer but its not like its an outdated socket.

I do have gtx 1070Ti upgraded from gtx 960 , Both does have the same FPS gtx 960 has 99% usage on 1440p with +100 FPS and the Gtx 1070 Ti has 40-30% usage on 1440p , With i5 6600 3.50 , Tried to set resolution to 720p and lower the resolution scale as much possible , Got 90% CPU Usage with 150-200 FPS , So i think i have to upgrade the CPU so i can get stable 200 FPS on low settings fortnite and other competitive games

Am i right ?

It's hard to answer questions about an upgrade from your current CPU and about the performance of your current CPU without you actually telling us what the CPU is. Sounds like a CPU bottleneck, but I don't want to say for sure on such limited information.

he said its a i5 6600:p
