Hey there. I am building a cheap gaming PC for my bro. ATM I am pairing the AMD A10-7870K 3.90GHz Quad-Core APU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti 2GB.

Basically all I am looking for is will this run ARMA 3 @ 30fps? If yes, that is perfect, as it is one of the most demanding games. So my logic is if he can play arma, he can play almost anything.

I wouldn't pair a 7870k with 750ti becuase, in doing so, you are losing the main appeal of the 7870k which is the Integrated graphics. I would swap the 7870k for core i3 4130 and you should get much better performance when paired with 750ti. I would also take a look at the new gtx 950 as its significantly better than 750ti if you can fit it on your budget.

Due to the clock speed it would perform like an R7 240, a fair step down of the 250.
