[SOLVED] Can my computer not handle HDMI gaming?

Greetings, fellow forum goers.

Recently I had problems with my video card so I sent my computer back to Dell for repairs. Long story short, when I got my computer back I started using it (just browsing internet and watching youtube) and it seemed to work fine. But I decided to get another monitor, a widescreen 23.8 inch monitor. So after a few days waiting for this to arrive from Amazon, I hooked up this monitor and I was stunned by how good the picture looked, probably because this was HDMI rather than my previous monitor which was DVI. However, just a couple of days ago I decided to try gaming. I reinstalled DOOM 2016. However, when I got to playing the game, it seemed to run in slow motion. I quit, tried updating my drivers and stuff, but that didn't help. Sometimes the game couldn't even finish loading the main menu screen and I had to Ctrl+alt+delete. I tried reinstalling, but after the reinstall it was worse. The entire game looked grainy and indecipherable before I could even start a new game.

I tried install Far Cry 2 (a 12 year old game) and it seemed to run fine. Was DOOM itself the problem, or just that modern games were putting too much strain on my PC? So I tried to install Wolfenstien II. And I tried playing it. While it didn't get as bad as DOOM, the FPS was still really low during gameplay, even on low graphics.

So my question is, did Dell not quite fix my videocard, or can my current PC just not handle HDMI gaming, or is it something else. I was going to try hooking up my old monitor again but that is a pain in the butt so I figured I'd ask here first.

Here are my specs:

I dont see a dedicated gpu if there isnt one thats your problem there only intergrated gpu i know that worn at 720p with doom is amd's vega 8 and 10 so you won't beable to run doom on intergrated graphics from intel especially at 1080p

I'm sorry but I don't know what any of that means. It sounds like you are saying I have a second graphics card I don't know about or something. I know what bios is but are you talking about establishing a physical connection between my monitor and something inside my tower?

Yes exactly.
There are 2 graphics processors in your system:
integrated GPU in i7-6700 - Intel HD Graphics 530 and
discrete GPU - R9 370.

Back panel of your pc probably looks similar to this.
Video connectors on black background (in this image) go to integrated graphics,
video connectors on metallic background (vertical slots in this image) are connected to discrete graphics.

You have to connect all your monitors to discrete graphics card.
