Hi there! I have a laptop that I use for gaming and was thinking about overclocking the CPU. I'm not sure if it is possible/safe to overclock it though. Here are my laptop specs
Model: Lenovo G50-45
CPU: AMD A8-6410 APU
GPU: AMD Radeon R5 Graphics
RAM: 6GB
OS: Windows 10 x64
Please let me know if I am able to overclock the CPU.

Thanks!

Sometimes 'can' doesnt mean you 'should'!

Even if its technically possible to do so, overclocking a CPU inside a laptop that is not designed for it is NOT a good idea. The problem is; your CPU is most probably already thermal-throttling as it gets too hot under load due to the poor air flow inherent in the average laptop (even 'gaming' ones), so OC'ing wont do a lot - itll just make your CPU hit its thermal-throttle quicker, and hence zero performance increase.

So, no, I wouldn't if I were you :)
