Can my GPU support 4 Display?

Currently equipped with a GTX 1060 Armour 6GB also equipped with 2 display at the moment one 50" TV and another one 27" gaming monitor Im thinking of setting another 2x 27" monitor beside the current one so that makes it 4 display in total. Will gaming witcher 3 hurt on the 3x 27" monitor such as lag and fps drop?

It will run 4 displays, but the speed and quality will depend on what you're asking of the card. Try it.

Card is well enough to have 4 screen. But when it is come to gaming it is somewhat depending on your CPU too.
without knowing about your CPU and memory it's hard tell you whether you OK or not. but the Graphic card is totally fine.

however the retailer told me to leave one port open for some reason because its not good to have the gpu push 4 display? is that true?

If you running the card under a very heavy load for considerable time, only thing to be consider is the perfect air flow through the card which also can keep the cards in good temperature... mostly that is what you have to care not the amount of outputs that the card can provide.

Normally in studios we using Quadro P4000s which can provide up to 4 DP outputs at the same time.
