[SOLVED] Can my Graphics card run with 6 + 2 pin Cable?

Hello I have a 8 pin Graphics card but I only have a 6 + 2 pin Cable. I have a R9 380X from Gigabyte.Can it run when I clip them together?

Yes.....that is typical and by design.

You're welcome.
They're designed that way in case you have a GPU that only takes a 6 pin.
