Can my GTX 980 handle 900p resolution

My PC comrades,

My computer is all modern except my 8 years old Monitor which only supports up to 1600 x 900 resolution lol.

I don't have enough money to buy 1080p monitor so Im stuck with acer monitor.

Did you think that my GTX 980 can handle most game @ 60 fps with max settings ? That includes wash dogs and crysis 3.

Here is my specs:

MSI GTX 980 4 GB Ram
Intel i5 4670k @ 3.4 Ghz
Motherboard Asus B85 - Pro Gamer
8 GB Ram
Windows 7 64 bit
Cosair h100i
EVGA supernova PSU 1000 watts

If most gamers are playing on a 1080 resolution and 980 is one of the highest end cards you can get your hands on... What do you think??

At 1600x 900 a GTX 980 is overkill. At 1080P and below a GTX 970 will steam roll anything.

It looks like you got the card so the overkill issue aside, yes the GTX 980 will do both Crysis 3 and Watching the dogs at @60 fps+.
