Hey there so i wanted to ask can my pc that is HP Z400 which has like Xeon w3520 2.67ghz quad core and like 6Gb ram DDR3 with its original PSU 475W some chinese brand and from what ive seen it has 21amps or whatever it is so im asking can mi pc run with that components like

HD 6750 Sapphire
or
HD 7750

Solution

I presume you mean you used a Molex to 6-pin adapter for the 2nd connection. While a 500W PSU is the normally recommended min for the GTX 260, your 475W should have been enough to run the card easily at startup to the desktop where there's hardly any load on the GPU. Could the card itself be bad?

Either way, the...

Thank you so much for response can you suggest me some cards that i can run i dont need something superstrong i dont want my pc to explode so please i dont really understand this ive put gtx 260 and my psu couldnt spin coolers and it gave me errors i was scared soo can i get some card requests to use i dont want to fry my pc THAT PIC IS MY PSU

If that pic of the PSU nameplate I posted above is the same as the one on your PSU, it is more than capable of handling any of those those cards and more. The nameplate states that the 2 x +12v rails* have a rating of 456W or 38A. If the GTX 260 didn't work, did you have the 6-pin header(s) on the card plugged in? (most had 2 headers, but some 260's may have only had 1)

* the +12v rail(s) is the power source for the heavy electrical loads on the PC. Loads like the GPU, CPU, drives, fans...

That's a workstation, as such it has a fairly robust power supply. Unless you know it has a 6 pin pci-express power connector, I'd stick with videocards that do not require a 6 pin. Of new cards this means RX 460 or 560 or GTX 1050 or 1050 Ti.

Of used cards, the oldest I'd consider is an AMD HD 7750, because older cards are no longer supported with new drivers. Ideally an Nvidia GTX 750 Ti is the used card to get. Needless to say, a card like an HD 7750 is for 720p gaming with less demanding games. You'll want a 750 Ti or better for 1080p and/or more demanding games.

@clutchc i hae still gtx 260 laying around and i had an adapter to have 2x6-pins my psu only has 1 i plugged it my pc started got in windows screen and just black screened i opened my pc to see that gpu is overheating and not spinning coolers at all it tries like idk and just stops so i at that moment fast turned of my pc and moved away thinking oh crap my psu is about to fry my pc and assumed my psu is weak for it...

Either way, the 6570 and 7750 you mentioned above won't give you any problem. In fact, the GT 1030 is a modern card that has at least the power of the old GTX 260. And faster than the other two cards you listed.
GT 1030 > GTX 260 = HD 7750 > HD 6570
