[SOLVED] Can my IBuyPower BB950 support a NVME M.2 Drive?

I want to upgrade my IBuyPower BB950 and put my OS and programs on it. it would either be the 970 EVO or the corsair MP510 M.2 Drive. will it work?

Sure. Both of them will work. Also, how much space are you looking for? 250GB? 500GB? 1TB?

I would recommand the 970 evo.

There is a really fast SSD I found. The HP EX920. The 1TB version only costs $150. I bit more than the 970 EVO at 500GB, and performs about as well. Some parts, like the write speed, is a little slower, but the sustained write speed is almost double that of the 970 EVO 500GB. If that is far more space than you need, the EX920 500GB costs about $85 or so and has similar performance.

As you can see, the 1TB drive performs significantly better than the 970 EVO 500GB does.
