Hello,

Is this your PSU: http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/extreme/extreme-power-plus-650w/ ? If so, it is a low-quality PSU, it will work with an 260X at most. For more reference, check this:

Hello,

Is this your PSU: http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/extreme/extreme-power-plus-650w/ ? If so, it is a low-quality PSU, it will work with an 260X at most. For more reference, check this:

The most desirable PSUs are from Tier 1+2; Tier 3 can also be used, but they are not for overclocked systems (also, if you pick a Tier3 PSU, you should go for a higher power than the system's requirements). In Tier 4+5 you will find the worst PSUs, which should be changed immediately (your PSU is in TIER 5).

If that is not your PSU, please post a picture with the label of the PSU.

An R9-280X needs a very good PSU, at least 500W (Tier 1), 550W (Tier 2) or 600W (Tier 3).
