As mentioned in the title
My laptop is Lenovo Legion y740 with a Thunderbolt 3.0 port and Windows 10. My monitor is ASUS MG279Q which was released in about 2014. Can the port power up my monitor? And if so, is there any limitation regarding the bandwidth or the maximum framerate the monitor can display?
As of now, I use a mini-DisplayPort to full sized Displayport cable to the monitor, but looking for another alternative because my laptop doesnt have a hdmi port.
My biggest concern is there is no support for display usage with Thunderbolt in Windows 10.
